Custom builds, but for websites
Efird Surveying Group: a custom website build sheet
At One Computer Outlet a custom PC starts from what the owner needs, and the Efird Surveying Group site was approached the same way.
The build for a land surveying and mapping firm in DeLand centered on a services site paired with a custom job, scheduling and billing system that replaced spreadsheet tracking.
The Efird Surveying Group build it replaced
Before the custom build, the Wayback Machine recorded the efirdsurveying.com homepage on March 12, 2026.
That older setup, labeled “Efird Surveying Group | Surveying & Mapping Services”, consisted of an orange-and-green layout with a Florida map graphic, a bulleted list of survey services and phone numbers in the header.
The finished Efird Surveying Group build
The finished configuration gives the client a services site paired with a custom job, scheduling and billing system that replaced spreadsheet tracking.
Below is the finished Efird Surveying Group homepage from the 1WebsiteNow portfolio.
Custom software we built from scratch for Efird
Like a custom PC built for one owner's workload, Efird's operations platform was written specifically for how a surveying firm takes in, schedules, drafts and bills its jobs.
The build is shown here with seeded sample data only; nothing in these images comes from Efird's real records.
Why a custom PC shop builds websites this way
Off-the-shelf parts rarely fit a demanding owner, and an off-the-shelf template would not have fit Efird Surveying Group either.
