Custom builds, but for websites

SpeedFreek RC: a custom website build sheet

At One Computer Outlet a custom PC starts from what the owner needs, and the SpeedFreek RC site was approached the same way.

The build for a Florida builder of custom fiberglass RC racing boats centered on a product-led store for hulls, assembled boats and parts.

The SpeedFreek RC build it replaced

Before the custom build, the Wayback Machine recorded the speedfreekrc.com homepage on February 9, 2011.

That older setup, labeled “Home page”, consisted of a stock Magento storefront template with a Home Page heading and sidebar boxes.

The finished SpeedFreek RC build

The finished configuration gives the client a product-led store for hulls, assembled boats and parts.

Why a custom PC shop builds websites this way

Off-the-shelf parts rarely fit a demanding owner, and an off-the-shelf template would not have fit SpeedFreek RC either.
